Kay Bylo accepted the Lord as her Savior at the age of nine at First Baptist Church, Bourbon, MO, under the preaching of Bro. Oliver Mullen. She is a charter member of New Testament Baptist Church. She serves in the Sunday School, Master Clubs, music, and backpack ministries. In November 2021, Kay accepted the part-time position of NTBC Secretary/Clerk.
Kay holds a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration from Southwest Baptist University. She taught second grade for twenty years and served as the Superintendent of Spring Bluff R-XV School prior to retiring in 2014. She currently serves on the school board of Spring Bluff R-XV School.
Kay loves children, most especially her nine exceptional grandchildren, Mackenzie, Trenton, Juliana, Reagan, Ethan, Quinn, Kaden, Emersyn and Kamden. She cherishes her three amazing daughters and sons-in-law, Kallie & Nathan Dace, Kayla & TJ Carey, and Kelcey & Kyle Roehrs, who all serve the Lord in various ministries as well as in their professional and personal lives.
Kay credits her parents, Don and Mabel King, with instilling in her a strong work ethic and that if you see something that needs done, just do it ~ don’t wait for someone else.
Kay also loves her church family! She invites you to come by the church office when you have a chance to say hello and maybe have a cup of coffee (with lots of cream & sugar!). 😊
